2009 Tennessee Gesneriad Society Show & Sale
Some of the members at the show - left to right Richard, Molly, Julie, Brad, Dave, Diane, Pam, Peggy,
Jonathan and taking the picture, Diane's husband Chuck.
We had a great show, lots of show plants and plants for sale.  It will take me a couple of days to
get the pictures I took up on the website, so check back and see if anything has been added. I
did well, with 28 entries I won seven 1st place, six 2nd place and four 3rd place. I tried to get
pictures of everybody with one of their plants and hopefully they came out well.
Left - Carol Ann's Achimenes violacea, incredible blooms
look like crushed velvet.
Above - Aeschynanthus marmoratus, I love the green and
red bloom, almost invisible.
Below - Gloxinia erinoides, a really good shot of the bloom
(thumb is for size comparison).
