Sinningia schiffneri

Back to misc.
Sinningia schiffneri - large plant with velvet leaves and small bright white flowers with
purple spotting in throat. I grew a couple from seed, but they were weak and died, the plants I
have now came from Jonathan Ertl at one of the Tennessee Gesneriad Shows, he brought
me a handful of cuttings.
I had crossed this to my Vanhouttea hiliriania and the seed took, but my evil cat broke the
only stem with my crosses on it.  I did get some self seed and might try to grow some from
seed again.
